Our shoes are designed with total comfort and style in mind. They are wider in the tread and have deeper to boxes allowing room for your feet to spread naturally. They have lightweight flexible shock absorbing polyurethane soles incorporating tiny air bubbles, all acting as shock absorbers, helping to cushion the impact as your feet contact the ground.

We were formed in 1886 and have been making ladies and gents footwear in Leicester for over 115 years. Employing a skilled workforce of in excess of 200 people, our products are sold not only in the UK and Europe but also North America and Australia. The range includes ladies and gents wider fitting footwear with the accent on comfort along with narrow fitting ladies court and casual shoes and sandals.

Founded in 1879 in Northampton at the heart of Britains shoemaking region, we have specialised in making Goodyear-welted shoes for more than 125 years. This method, originated by hand-makers centuries ago, gives the shoes an exceptional degree of strength, durability and comfort in wear.

Producing quality leather shoes is a craft that we have perfected since the company was founded in 1880. The companys craftsmen still use the same traditional skills that have been handed down through generations, and at our factory in Earls Barton, Northamptonshire, we produce a variety of high quality constructions which include goodyear welted, moccasin and lightweight casuals.

At the end of the 19th Century our founder had mastered the shoemaking skills handed down by his Father and Grandfather. Having reached our centenary year the company still today remains a family business with a further generation upholding the traditional skills and craftsmanship required to produce high quality Goodyear Welted footwear.

We are a family oriented business. Our roots date back to the 1870s and our present Chairman is grandson of the founder. We market around half a million pairs of ladies shoes per year and employs approximately 250 people at the Head Office and factories in East Anglia. Our main brand specializes in footwear for the woman who requires a wider than average fitting.
