Fredericks is proud to have been in business as a family run company for over 100 years, one of the oldest in the town. The business has seen many changes over the years and now specialises in the manufacture, wholesale and retail of luxury Italian style Ice Creams. We currently produce over 112 different flavours of Ice Cream with new ones being added constantly. The Ice Cream is made on the premises at Bolton Road. We make about 70 different flavours, and we can make any flavour of Ice Cream that is possible to think of. Our luxury Ice Cream range is hand made using only the finest ingredients, imported from Italy, and contain real fruit. We also make a mouth watering selection of refreshing sorbets. Every year Fredericks Ice Cream enter the National Ice Cream Competition and we have been delighted to receive many awards including Diplomas, Diplomas of Merit and Special Diplomas of Merit. We have also won the Silver Medal for Coffee flavour 1995, the Silver Medal for Vanilla in 2002 and ultimately we were Champions in 2001 winning the Silver Challenge Cup.

Based in the North West of England, we now employ 300 people across two sites, having recently opened a second manufacturing site near Liverpool. We acquired the Cadbury License in 1999 and the Del Monte license in 2003, which means we now manufacture and market both Cadbury and Del Monte branded ice cream making us the second largest auk branded manufacturer. And so, from humble beginnings selling ice cream from hand and pony carts we enter our third century. Our family business continues to invest in manufacturing capabilities and has just ploughed over Ј10million into Europes largest and most automated state of the art production facility.

We believe that these products will compliment most dessert menus and with an extensive choice, allow our customers to decide which mix of traditional or innovative products to offer.

We are a family business producing luxury organic ice cream and frozen yogurts. Made using tradiional ingredients with no artificial flavours, preservatives or stabilisers, our organic range of ice cream is fairly traded. Our Frozen Yogurt range has no added cream, so has less than 3% fat. In addition, for those with egg allergies, it does not contain egg.
