Our Company was founded in Gosport in the mid eighties to produce seasoning mixes for the small meat processors and High Street Butcher. The concept was to produce a mix containing all the ingredients required to produce a good quality sausage or burger, except for meat and water. This was packaged in sizes to enable a complete pack to be used in a single batch. A finished product of consistent quality, in both taste and appearance, was thus achieved by the elimination of operator errors in weighing. We are now situated in the heart of the Sussex countryside since 1997 when we moved into our new, and long awaited, Product Development Block which enabled us to perform in house New Product Development on behalf of our clients. Our development capability covers all area of interest for the food manufacturer from the supply of herb and spice blends, through seasonings, sauces and gravies, to complete custom recipe dishes for the meat, fish and vegetarian sectors.

We are the leading supplier of flavours, fragrances and colours used to make a diverse variety of foods and beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, home and personal care products, specialty printing and imaging products, computer imaging and industrial colors. We have been a yeast producer for over 120 years. Established in Scotland in 1878, the company became the leading producer of fresh yeast in the UK market. Through research and development, we pioneered the production of yeast in dried form for export. Initially this was through Active Dried Yeast and later in the mid 1960s with Instant Yeast. These two products remain the form in which yeast is sold in markets not able to supply fresh yeasts. In addition to supplying both dried and fresh yeast to the UK and Ireland, we also sells our yeast to over 60 countries.

We were setup in 1993 and is a small, dedicated team focussing on the supply of a full range of food acids and intense sweeteners. At the heart of our links with our customers is the quality of service we provide in trying to meet our customers requirements and our flexibility in meeting those varied needs. Another essential part of our ability to meet our customers specific needs is our stong relationship with our suppliers and principals.

Our brand is the food ingredient brand that provides the food industry with synthetic, natural and functional food ingredients. We provides sales, marketing, distribution and technical support for food ingredients.

We were founded in 1986 as the manufacturing arm of a food science consultancy specialising in product and process development. We are still family owned. We are proud to hold the BRC (British Retail Consortium) Award for quality systems. Our laboratory is CLAS-accredited (Campden Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) and we have received the Investor In People award.
