Established in 1985, we have grown from a modest three-person operation into a successful, environmentally conscious business, employing over 170 staff across four sites and with export partners worldwide. Our founders and partners now work alongside their son and daughter, who are the third generation to enter the industry. The seeds of our company were first sown when our founder was working for his father, and they came up with the unlikely business idea of recycling docking ropes from London dockyards. As times changed so did the business. It moved from dock ropes to buying clothes and textiles. Our founder soon saw that old rags could potentially have new value, and with the advent of the affluent eighties people were no longer throwing out clothes because they were old and tatty but because they were out of fashion. Most importantly these clothes could be reused. In 1985, we decided to make good use of this hard-earned knowledge and set up a business concentrating on collecting and sorting clothes for reuse - our company was then born. We reuse and recycle virtually every kind of textile, from t-shirts to saris to school uniforms, shoes, trainers, football kits, hats, belts, jackets. The list is endless. And if you have any household textiles to donate such as towels, bed sheets or curtains, these can also be reused.

We are widely recognised as one of the UK leading processors of second-hand clothing, recyclable textiles and industrial wiping cloths. Our company management has over 30 years experience and fully understands the requirements of all the recognised and developing markets around the world. Product development to suit particular needs is our forte. In 1991 we joined forces in the UK with the Salvation Army and operate as their exclusive agent. With this alliance, they can utilize textile recycling as one of thier many means of fundraising to achieve its missions goals. This partnership resulted in the siting of 1700 clothing banks across the UK, the largest provider in the country, and also the introduction of a door to door collection scheme which visits millions of homes each year. These two collection systems generate hundred of tonnes of donated clothing per week, which are then processed at our sorting and distribution facility in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, England. The 60,000 square foot building, on 3 acres of land, enables us to receive, process, package, warehouse and distribute our products from an excellent logistical position whilst at the same time providing administration accomodation for us.
