Our company was founded in 1935. At that time the company consisted of 7 bakeries which up until that time had operated as independent family businesses. The Company has a one-third share of the bread market and provides a wide range of bread, rolls, and morning goods, as well as part-baked lines for bake-off in retailers' stores, and specialist bread used by sandwich-makers. The Company delivers to tens of thousands of shops daily or twice-daily, and has both a thriving own-label business and a strong portfolio of brands.

Stablished over 20 years ago as a family run business, our company continues to supply the high class grocers, farmshops, hotels and caterers throughout the Cotswolds and continue to expand into different parts of the country. Treated at first as a hobby, our founder developed her own original recipe with only eggs and sugar being used with no additives whatsoever. This successful recipe is still being used, forming the basis of many different shapes and sizes of meringues today. The company is now run by daughters of our original founder. The meringues are marketed in London and the South East. In June of 1997 our company moved for the third time to much larger premisies in order to be able to meet with increased demand for our meringues. We feel this move will enable us to cover more outlets country wide. The move will also allow us to experiment with producing even higher quality products in the near future.

Each and every one is hand-baked in our family run bakery in Devon using the finest natural ingredients to guarantee a great taste that is wholesome and nutritious. Our products sell. Our hand-made flapjacks are available in 30 flavours. All of our products, are hand-made and hand baked. They are each individually wrapped, labelled and bar-coded, and packed 24 to an attractive, sturdy counter pack. Our company is a wholesale bakery based in Rugby, Warwickshire, founded in 1989. We currently supply a wide range of bakery products to shops, caterers, schools and colleges, sandwich producers, canteens, hotels, catering vans and public houses, etc. Deliveries are made during the morning, six days a week, from Monday through to Saturday. Wholesale orders can also be collected from the bakery. Initially, the bakery had one retail outlet on a run down estate and very little wholesale trade. Our founder baked, packed and delivered all the products himself. Over the following years the retail outlet was sold as more and more customers were taken on and the bakery became totally wholesale. This meant that two people were employed, a baker and a driver. From then on the bakery has expanded from one unit to four units employing twenty staff and using five vans for deliveries to a twenty mile radius.

We were founded in 1908. The quality of our modern facility leads to us being the preferred manufacturing site for many of our major customers which increased the business. We currently employ over 900 people. We also have EFSIS higher level accreditation. Many of our bakery items are produced to the same family recipes of nearly 100 years ago. Over 150 items are made and distributed fresh daily. We have built a name for quality, buying only the best ingredients in our products. Modern equipment and machinery are used where they help maintain consistency but in many areas traditional baking skills are used, in order to make the products look as good as they taste.

We are passionate about sourcing ingredients locally and our products all contain locally sourced butter, milk and eggs. Our savoury biscuits contain locally made cheeses and all our products are made with organic flour. Our products are available in farm shops and fine food stores across the South East with a small range being carried by stores in East and West Sussex. We also sell direct at farmers markets in Kent, East & West Sussex, Surrey and South London. We are an artisan bakery making award winning sweet & savoury biscuits, cakes, cookies & traybakes for trade, retail & white label customers.
