Our Company was founded in 1887 in the heart of the historic Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. Three years later they were able to build and move to their state of the art factory in Legge Lane. From the outset, highly skilled craftsmen were employed to produce a wide range of high quality gold and diamond jewellery designed for their discerning clientele of the late 19th century. Our design inspiration and influences are drawn from the rich heritage, left to us by our Celtic ancestors. They indulged their love of ornamenting everyday items, magnificently carved stones, tombs and crosses with representations of beasts, swirls and delicately intertwining patterns. The intricate interlacing appearing in most Celtic designs, with their unbroken ribbons has come to be accepted as a symbolic representation of eternal spiritual life. The Celts created an influential artform, which has survived the Centuries and become widespread throughout the world. With these influences in mind, here in our modern premises, using both traditional methods and state-of-the-art equipment, our skilled workforce produce high quality, hand made, sterling silver and electroplated base metal jewellery.

My work is quite simple in design as my style and themes are based very much on straight lines. I have incorporated many different techniques into my work from anodising, oxidising and more recently experimenting with different surface textures. Other materials that I use within my work are Gold. I like to combine this with silver for a subtle contrast in colour.
