The company was set up in September 2000 in light of competitiveness issues facing the UK ceramic industry. We are supported by government funding and the work of a wide range of partner organisations with the common objective of promoting and encouraging innovation in the design, marketing, manufacturing and development of training and skills. We began with a small family-run ceramic workshop in Foshan, southern China. Foshan is one of four renowned ceramic making regions in China, dating back several centuries. Our ceramic making techniques and style is unique to the area of Foshan, defined by our 100% use of local clay, and influenced by local weather conditions. In 2003 we moved to London and have now developed over 68 different ceramic glazes to date.

Many of the products we are distributing have never been sold in the UK before although we have been seen on the shelves of the most well respected US stores. We are bringing something new to the UK market in both ceramics and glassware!

Our laboratories provide an extensive range of services designed to meet our clients needs from single/batch analysis to rapid response. For more than fifty years we have worked in partnership with many national and international industries and have built a strong team of experts to support our service delivery. We work very closely with manufacturers, retailers and importers and Trading Standards/Customs Offices to ensure product conformity both legally and duty of care. Our scope also incorporates expert witness, training, consultancy and certification.

We create original ceramic mugs.The artwork shows a concept created by the designer, using foliage, collected and interpreted into sketch drawings, for Seasons and Stems. Organic colours from the garden were incorporated into both designs.
